Paul Tonkin

Our Team

Paul has over forty nine years industry experience, this has seen him develop a comprehensive technical and practical knowledge of residential, commercial and civil construction.

With trade training completed in the mid 1970's, regular promotion allowed Paul to progress into site and project management.  In 1996 Paul was promoted to Contracts Manager at Fletcher Construction, a position he held until 2006 when he left there to join the Woods Harris team.  Paul was made a partner and joint Director at Woods Harris in 2008.

As a specialist programmer his clients have included government departments and territorial authorities, health sector, educational institutions, major corporates, industrial applications, developers and contractors.

Extensive experience in the construction industry allows Paul to provide valuable insights at the design stage of projects. Working across all areas of the build process on multiple projects allows Paul to ensure "real time" construction resourcing and techniques are applied.  Once included, these provide efficient and cost-effective results for clients.  Time management principles applied at the design process is another advantage gained from Woods Harris's involvement at the early stages in each project.
